I have super long hair which means there’s a lot to take care of and a lot of things that can go wrong. Things like getting massive knots and then trying to comb them out only to realize that you took out a lot of hair (not to mention there is much mourning over the hair that is lost). However, I’m not the only one with hair problems, which is why I decided to share these hair care tips and hacks with all of you.
I’ve stated this before, but I think it’s important to say again. I really love finding great tips and tricks for my readers. And I really love including the lists I found them from. It just gives you guys an awesome opportunity to check out even more hair care tips. There’s so much useful information out there that I couldn’t just share my own finds.
Well I hope you find these hair care tips and hacks helpful and let me know in the comments what helped you or if you have any tips yourself!
Braids are my go-to right now since they’re quick but beautiful. And I especially love the crown braids redux; it reminds me of a milkmaid braid and it’s a great way to keep long hair up when it’s hot out.

You know how bobby pins never seem to stay? Well no more! All you have to do is spray your pins with hair spray or dry shampoo, shake in paper towel to distribute the hairspray/dry shampoo, and start pinning your hair. A super simple hair care tip!

Alright now washing long hair is a bit of a task and when you find out there are still areas that are oily… well it’s just not a good moment. But one great way to avoid that is to..
Only condition the bottom ½ to ¾ of your hair: Because your scalp already produces oils, your hair by the roots will become oily much faster. So if you want your clean hair to last longer, then make sure you avoid the scalp.
